02 · MARKET POSITIONING

Retro Styling Built Around Everyday Practicality

The TY22 is designed for riders who want more visual character than a basic commuter scooter without giving up the functions required for everyday transportation. Unlike a styling-only retro model, the TY22 combines its classic body design with an 8-liter fuel tank, practical under-seat storage, rear carrier, full LED lighting and Type-C + USB charging. These features give the product a clear daily-use role for commuting, errands and personal transportation rather than positioning it purely around lifestyle appeal. The current reference vehicle uses a 149.6cc air-cooled engine with CVT automatic transmission, providing a straightforward mainstream urban configuration. For distributor projects, alternative displacement and equipment grades can be developed around the same TY22 product identity.

09 · Buyer FAQ

Questions from
professional buyers.

Answers to common questions about ordering, customization, supply formats, compliance and after-sales planning.

  • The current detailed reference uses a 149.6cc air-cooled engine with carburetor fuel delivery and CVT automatic transmission.

It also includes 12-inch aluminum wheels, front disc / rear drum brakes, dual rear shocks, full LED lighting, an 8-liter fuel tank, LCD instrumentation and Type-C + USB charging.

This is the current reference configuration rather than the specification for every TY22 project.

  • TY22 combines retro-inspired design with functions that support regular daily use.

Its 8-liter fuel tank, rear carrier, storage, LED lighting and device charging make it suitable for commuting and everyday transportation rather than positioning the product around appearance alone.

  • The appropriate specification depends on the local displacement structure, target retail price, service environment and expected equipment grade.

KAMAX can review the powertrain, fuel system, braking, instrument, locking system and other equipment together before quotation.

This avoids selecting individual components without considering the overall product position.

  • Yes.

Current project references support 50cc, 125cc, 150cc and 180cc-class configurations.

Each version should be treated as its own approved technical specification because fuel system, braking and equipment may vary with the selected powertrain.

  • No.

Current project configurations can use different braking systems, instrument types, locking systems, tire specifications and suspension layouts.

The final TY22 should therefore be confirmed as one complete vehicle specification rather than defined only by engine displacement.

  • Before preparing a final quotation, KAMAX should confirm:

Destination Market · Required Displacement · Powertrain Specification · Fuel System · Brake Layout · Equipment Grade · Branding Scope · Packing Method · Expected Order Quantity

The quotation can then be prepared against one approved TY22 specification.
