02 · MARKET POSITIONING

A Configurable MX / Enduro Platform for Different Rider and Market Levels

The K20 is built around a dedicated MX / Enduro chassis with full-size 21/18-inch wheels, 300 mm ground clearance and adjustable suspension, creating a platform designed around technical terrain and active rider movement rather than road-riding comfort. The standard CB250-F configuration provides a straightforward 250cc starting point, while multiple 250cc, 300cc and higher-output engine platforms, together with carburetor / EFI and chassis-component options, allow distributors to develop different specification levels around the same K20 platform.

Primary Use

MX training, enduro riding, amateur competition and technical off-road riding

Market Fit

MX / enduro riders, amateur racers, training riders and off-road enthusiasts progressing through different skill levels

Portfolio Role

09 · Buyer FAQ

Questions from
professional buyers.

Answers to common questions about ordering, customization, supply formats, compliance and after-sales planning.

  • K20 is a configurable MX / Enduro platform built around a dedicated off-road chassis, adjustable suspension and full-size 21/18-inch wheel geometry. It is intended for MX training, enduro riding, amateur competition and technical off-road use rather than regular road transportation.

  • The standard K20 uses the 249.9 cc CB250-F engine with carburetor fuel supply, manual clutch, 5-speed transmission and electric / kick starting. The chassis includes adjustable front and rear suspension, 21/18-inch off-road wheels and dedicated off-road rider-control components.

  • Yes. Multiple engine platforms are available for K20 projects, including PR250, PR300, YB250F, NX250, YB300H, CBS300, NB300, NC250, NC300S and NC450.

Final engine selection should be reviewed together with the required fuel system, cooling system and related chassis specification.

  • Yes. Carburetor and EFI configurations can be developed according to the selected engine platform and project requirements.

EFI should not be treated as standard equipment on every K20 version.

  • Yes, for applicable water-cooled engine platforms.

The standard CB250-F configuration is air-cooled, while water-cooling components are matched to engine platforms that require them.

  • The platform can be configured through engine selection, carburetor / EFI systems, applicable cooling systems, chassis and rider-control upgrades, off-road protection components and selected electrical equipment.

This allows distributors to develop different K20 specifications around rider level, market price position and intended MX / Enduro use.

  • Buyers should consider the target rider level, intended MX / Enduro use, required engine class, local price position and expected product specification.

KAMAX can review these requirements before confirming the final engine, chassis and equipment package.

  • K20 supports both SKD and CKD supply.

Current SKD reference loading is 105 units per 40HQ or 32 units per 20GP. Final CKD packing and loading quantities should be confirmed according to the selected engine and approved project specification.

  • Yes. Body colors, brand logos, racing graphics, number-plate graphics, seat graphics, product labels and packaging can be reviewed according to project requirements.

  • Road homologation is not specified in the current K20 product data.

Buyers requiring road registration or public-road use should confirm the applicable certification and homologation requirements for their destination market before finalizing the project.
